Our Catholic school is part of the Catholic Church. We work in partnership with our local parish and priests in order to enrich the spiritual life of the students, staff and families of our school, especially through the celebration of the Sacraments.
At significant times in their lives, the children receive the sacraments of Reconciliation, First Holy Communion and Confirmation. These sacraments are parish based, which means the main instruction is conducted by the parish with support from parents. All aspects of these programs are coordinated by the parish. Information and enrolment into these programs will be provided by the parish. Children in Year 3 receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation in Term 1 and the Sacrament of First Eucharist in Term 3. Children in Year 6 receive the Sacrament of Confirmation in Term 2.
