Last week, Holy Spirit Primary School celebrated Book Week online!
Book Week is a time to celebrate books and Australian authors and illustrators. Every year, The Children’s Book Council of Australia (CBCA) shortlists Australian Children’s Books based on quality literature and awards the winning book of the year.
Students spent the week exploring “Old Worlds, New Worlds, Other Worlds”. They participated in a range of Book Week activities such as modelled drawings, storytelling, jigsaw puzzles, guessing games, origami and much more!
We even had a virtual Book Week parade where students showed off their fabulous costumes through some grade Zooms. Parents and teachers also had some fun dressing up as well!
